Day 7

Only day 7 and I am running out of things to take pictures of. Well, here was supper tonight. I had some already cooked chicken in the fridge, so I unrolled a can of cresent rolls, put the chopped chicken, some broccoli and cheddar cheese on and baked at 350 degrees for about 13 minutes. It was quite yummy. Nick and I liked the ones with broccoli. Tom and Alexander liked the chicken and cheese only. Chris didn't like either of them, so he had cereal for supper.

Day 6

I kept this wreath on the inside of my front door as it added the Christmasy fragrance to our home. When the needles got too dry, I tossed it on the glider on our front porch. As I was coming inside, I noticed that the snow looked really pretty on it and thought this would make a great shot of the day.

Nick's the Man

Nick came home from school today with this sticker on his shirt. I was so happy, I did our traditional happy dance. He shrugged it off saying everyone got one, but I could tell he was secretly pleased. He sure has come far from the little boy who got a note home on the eighth day of Kindergarten saying, "Nick is defiant and disobedient."

Roberta going Home :(

Seems like we never get to spend enough time together. They come in and *poof* they are on their way home. Nikki had her darling little puppy with her and Matthew got to show off his smile sans braces. Roberta and I got to sit side by side as she showed me some of the functions of my camera. I had to take notes as I don't remember so well anymore. Then a little refresher on creating a path for my text. Sigh. I sure wish they still lived around here.

Roberta, Nikki and Matt are over for a visit. Nikki brought her new baby, Cody. He is so stinking cute, but as much work as having a real baby. Glad mine (two and four footed) are past this baby stage.

I went to yoga this morning for the first time in MONTHS. I have been feeling so sluggish and just plain yucky. So I am glad I went. Tom bought me a gift certificate to my favorite studio (upon request) and it felt so great to be back. I hate New Year's Resolutions, but doing something physical to make me feel better about me has to be a priority.
My sister is coming to visit tonight and I am so happppppyyyyy. It has been a while and although we fought like cats and dogs when we were young, she is my best friend. I don't have Nikki and Matthew's presents wrapped, but I will get up early and take care of that. House is cleaned, beds made and the fridges are stocked. Woo hoo.
I was going to post a photo for today, but realize I have two cute ones I need to do. So here are Nick (7) and Chris (5)

January 1

Today's post was easy to do. I looked through my friend Amy's 365 project from last year and she had some amazing photos. Since she is a professional photographer, I know I won't come close to her skills, but I got some ideas on what can go into my photos. Inanimate objects are fine, so when I laminated a color code for my kids not to fight over which toothbrush was theirs... I thought I would take a picture. So here goes.

A Photo a Day

I have always wanted to have a blog, but never wanted to DO a blog. The 365 Project I am doing in conjunction with Scrapbookgraphics has finally spurred me into action. So here we go....
